Day 1 of Couch to 5k

I am using the 5K Runner app from FITNESS22 LTD on my iPhone for this bucket list goal.

Week 1/ Day 1

  • 5 min warm-up
  • 1 min run + 1.5 min walk (6 times)
  • 5 min cool down

Total time: 25 mins

Before: I have just recently started walking again in the last two weeks or so. I get anywhere from 8,000 to 15,000 steps in a day so I think I’m ready.  Today I woke up feeling run down but I will still manage to get this done TODAY!

Afterward: Started out good.  By the 4th round of running I could start to feel it in my calves and I noticed my breathing getting rougher.  6th round ended in mutiny.  My legs turned into jelly when it changed back to walking. But I will survive!
