I recently saw a hyped up news story about the First Son, Barron Trump, attending a $38,000 middle school next year. Not a top headline maker for many reasons.
Barron will be attending St. Andrew’s Episcopal School in Maryland next school year. While it is a prestigious school, nothing about this decision from the President and First Lady is surprising.
Both of Obama’s daughters, Sasha and Malia, as well as Chelsea Clinton attended a highly selective school at $40,000 per year in tuition. This seems like the norm in concerns of safety as well as education for recent Presidential families.
Trump is the wealthiest U.S. President in history. Did we really expect him to put his child in public schools after only attending the best of what New York had to offer?
So why all the hype then?
